Dr Sarah Horniblow graduated from the University of NSW with MBBS (Honours) and Bachelor of Medical Science (research area Neurophysiology). After her internship at St George Hospital, she spent several years working at Nepean Hospital, gaining experience in Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics and Obstetrics.
Sarah commenced general practice training through the Family Medicine Programme, gaining a Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1996. She is interested in the broad range of General Practice, but carries additional qualifications in Womens Medicine including Diploma of Obstetrics (FRACOG), Certificate of Sexual and Reproductive Health (FPNSW), and training in IUD and Implanon insertion and removal.
Sarah is also a member of the NSW Rural Doctors Network for whom she provides locum relief work in rural NSW, including VMO work in rural hospitals.
Outside medicine, Sarah prefers to be very active running, cycling, sailing and bushwalking – preferably with her three children who are all now faster and more adventurous than their parents!
